    Today’s TEACHERble Moment

    Today’s TEACHERble Moment

A TEACHERble Moment: A Mind Set on Tomorrow

Do you spend more time thinking about the future or the past? Why? I keep my eyes on what’s ahead,Not rushed by fearNot ruled by dread. My thoughts reach far beyond today,I plan, I pray, I pave my way.I think of growth, of seeds I sow,Of quiet strength the years will grow.I knowEach choice I make, Continue reading

    A TEACHERble Moment on Playtime

    A TEACHERble Moment on Playtime

Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you? When I play,I loosen the grip of seriousness, and rest from the weight of adulthoodwithout guilt.Bills can wait.Time can bend.I can bend.Play is permissionto be silly,to be curious,to fail and try againwithout consequence. It’s healing disguised as fun.Playtime is not childishit’s courageous. It’s choosing freedomover expectation, fun Continue reading

About Me

My name is Erykah Gray, though many recognize me as Miss Gray. Hailing from the town of Centreville in Southern Mississippi, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English from The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg and a Master of Arts in Literature from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Currently, I am a doctoral student at the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

I firmly believe learning is a lifelong journey—and I am driven to excel on that path. Teaching is not my profession; but it’s a part of my identity. I am passionate about speaking, writing, and empowering others to discover their voices. Each day in my classroom, I am committed to nurturing my students into confident, inspired thinkers ready to conquer the world, and here I inspire to do the same.
