A TEACHERble Moment on Sacrifice

What sacrifices have you made in life?

God and Jesus made the most sincere sacrifice imaginable. God offered His only begotten Son, and Jesus willingly laid down His life for the sins of all humanity.

Who am I to believe that in this life, I could avoid making sacrifices of my own?

In our own unique ways, we have all made sacrifices. In fact, every sacrifice we make demands sacrifice.

The sacrifices I have made in life are fundamentally tied to my time. A significant portion of my time is not devoted to my own interests, but rather to the needs of others and the ways in which I can most effectively serve them.

This is a part of all our purpose.

To give. To sacrifice.

Today’s Homework:

Write a list of every sacrifice you have made in life and a list of every sacrifice that has been made unto you.

Compare the two.

Are you giving? Or are you just receiving?

My name is Erykah Gray, but most people know me as Miss Gray. I hail from the charming town of Centreville in Southern Mississippi.     says do not belong

    or feel too strong

    i ve had to learn

    how love and lust

    wash away ez as dust

    and need is not want

    and old nick

    will taunt

    as in revelations 12!
