How do you know when it’s time to unplug? What do you do to make it happen?
A whirl of chaos In a world of chaos. The Sun isn’t the only thing that can overheat.
Daily news reports. Forecast for Violence. 100% chance of Crime. Expect to have War. Record-breaking Poverty. Heavy Division. Cloudy Injustice. Hellstorm after another. The Sun isn’t the only thing that can overheat.
Sitting in silence. Thoughts accompanied me. They’re beginning to talk too much. Have to unplug Because the Sun isn’t the only thing that can overheat.
Something is brewing inside. Anger. Disappointment. Fear. I have to unplug now. The Sun isn’t the only thing that can overheat.
Rainfalls of sweet Hope Faith has poured. Thoughts gone. Unplugged. Time to cool off.
My name is Erykah Gray, but most people know me as Miss Gray. I hail from the charming town of Centreville in Southern Mississippi. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in English from The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg and a Master of Arts in Literature from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Today, I’m a proud doctoral student at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, because I believe that learning is a lifelong journey—and I’m passionate about being on that path. Teaching isn’t just what I do; it’s who I am. I love speaking, writing, and inspiring others to find their voice. Every day in my classroom, I strive to make learning exciting and meaningful while helping my students grow into confident, inspired thinkers ready to take on the world. Here, I plan to do the same.
