A TEACHERble Moment on Fear

What fears have you overcome and how?

Unwanted visitor,
What brings you here;
To see your prisoner,
Great puppeteer.

Fear eyed me down,
No words spoken;
And as I drowned,
The soul grew broken.

Too many pieces,
Not enough peace;
Too many reasons,
For Fear was a thief.

Succumbed to the thought of change,
Afraid to do things differently;
Wanting things to stay the same,
My biggest Fear was me.

I asked Fear to leave,
And invited Faith in;
All it took was to believe,
Change must have been within.
