My name is Erykah Gray, but most people know me as Miss Gray. I hail from the charming town of Centreville in Southern Mississippi. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in English from The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg and a Master of Arts in Literature from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Today, I’m a proud doctoral student at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, because I believe that learning is a lifelong journey—and I’m passionate about being on that path. Teaching isn’t just what I do; it’s who I am. I love speaking, writing, and inspiring others to find their voice. Every day in my classroom, I strive to make learning exciting and meaningful while helping my students grow into confident, inspired thinkers ready to take on the world. Here, I plan to do the same.

Your poem is a profound and beautifully articulated reflection on the essence of being an old soul. 🌟 The metaphor of the soul as the oldest garment we wear is both poignant and evocative. Your words resonate deeply, capturing the timeless nature of the soul and its influence on our identity. Thank you for sharing such heartfelt poetry. 🙏💖
