What jobs have you had?


Clocked in 
And went to work 
The year of 1999.
Since my birth 
I’ve had a job,
Had quite the overtime. 

Each job there comes a task
A duty. 
A role.
Many jobs I’ve had,
Many positions
I still hold. 

I’m a full-time daughter.
And a grand.
A sister.
A niece.
A cousin.
A friend.
A student.
A teacher. 
A writer. 
A speaker.

I’m always on time.
Reliable. 
Though I have many jobs,
Many more are desirable. 

I wish to be a wife,
A mother 
And a grand. 
Showing up for my children, 
My children’s children,
And my husband. 

I have quite the resume. 
Working Sunday 
To Saturday.
I love all my jobs
The benefits,
The pay.

Faithful employee.
Faithful servant 
Is she.

My name is Erykah Gray, but most people know me as Miss Gray. I hail from the charming town of Centreville in Southern Mississippi. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in English from The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg and a Master of Arts in Literature from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Today, I’m a proud doctoral student at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, because I believe that learning is a lifelong journey—and I’m passionate about being on that path. Teaching isn’t just what I do; it’s who I am. I love speaking, writing, and inspiring others to find their voice. Every day in my classroom, I strive to make learning exciting and meaningful while helping my students grow into confident, inspired thinkers ready to take on the world. Here, I plan to do the same.

    I worked with Kids. it is a good experience to know little kids and their beautiful minds
