List five things you do for fun.
I write because my thoughts get loud
And they need somewhere soft to land.
So I travel to remember the world is as big
As the pencil in my hand.
With my hands
I cook with seasoned instinct
Flavor from the soul
And a little heat.
The heat gets turned up a notch
When games bring out my playful side
No reason needed.
I don’t know what will be next
And this doesn’t make me nervous,
Because I try new things on purpose
And trust where wonder goes.
